Are Your paints vegan friendly?

At present pans of paint made by Box a Paint are not vegan friendly. We are considering moving towards synthetic oxgal.

There are some trinkets that are made with pigment, Gum Arabic and clove oil only. They were small batches to test pigments and were not enough to fill pans.

What’s in your binder?

Box a Paint uses a combination of the following ingredients

• Gum Arabic

• Honey

• Glycerin

• Clove Oil

• Oxgal

Confetti and moulded paints

What is confetti - as I try out new pigments, mica and mixes, I create small batches to test things out. Keeping some for my palette, the extra is added to moulds or dried in blocks, broken up and mixed together.

They only contain pigments/mica, Gum Arabic and clove oil and are vegan friendly.

As a thank you, I am including some confetti to all orders. To use them, add some to an empty pan or well, add a little water and you’ve got a bespoke mix of your own.
